We Are Thankful For.....

When I was a little girl I would always help my mom set the table and decorate for the holidays, and as the years went on my creative abilities increased until she finally let me design the table-scape on my own!  Ever since then, it has been one of my favorite holiday activities.  And for that, I am thankful!

Here are a few beautiful table-scapes that inspire me.  I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I love this modern, black and white twist on a holiday classic.

I am SUCH a sucker for tapers!

These personalized pumpkins would be a great party favor.

This table looks so warm and inviting.

Introducing Miss Lindsay Louise!

Since August you've been hearing about our wonderful intern, Lindsay, so we are featuring her this week!  She's an amazing intern, always working hard and learning all she can, all while doing it in style!
Isn't she adorable?

So here's a little question and answer session I had with her today.  Enjoy!

Me: Band or DJ?
Lindsay: Band!  Live music always gets people up, dancing, and having fun.

Me: Short or long bridesmaids dresses?
Lindsay:  Definitely short, that way they can have the freedom to dance.

Me: What are your favorite wedding flowers?
Lindsay: I love lilies, especially tiger lilies.

Me: What is your favorite wedding trend?
Lindsay:  My favorite is the vintage/lace wedding gowns.  They're so classy and timeless.

Me: Where is your favorite new Charleston venue and why?
Lindsay:  I'm a huge fan of any venue with a view of the water, without the nuisance of sand, like Lowndes Grove, Magnolia Plantation, and the Island House.

God Bless the USA!

In the spirit of American pride with it being Election Day, we wanted to focus on a red, white, and blue  color scheme.  This color scheme can easily be overwhelming, but done the right way, it can be absolutely adorable and patriotic!

Hope you enjoy!

These place-cards are the perfect balance of patriotism and class.

This would be a perfect, simple bridesmaids dress!

If the number was in red it would be ideal.

This invitations are so adorable with the red, white, and blue color scheme.

The seersucker linens neutralize the boldness of the navy and red.

These red, white, and blue flowers bring in color without being overwhelming.
